CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS

The Organizing Committee of ISCAS 2027 invites proposals for Special Sessions to be held during the conference in Bordeaux, France, June 6–9, 2027.

Special sessions aim to complement the regular technical program by highlighting emerging topics or innovative applications of established methodologies. Proposals should address timely, compelling, and high-impact areas of research. While proposals in all areas of Circuits and Systems are welcome, we particularly encourage topics aligned with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research.

Proposals outside these themes that address challenging open problems or novel applications are also encouraged. All papers in special sessions will undergo the same peer-review process as regular submissions.

Proposal should include the following information (3 pages max.):

  1. Title and abstract: A title and a concise abstract that conveys the session’s topic and scope.

  2. Rationale: Explain why the topic is novel and timely, describe its relevance to the ISCAS community.

  3. Proposed speakers: Provide a list of all talks, speakers, and co-authors (in each associated paper). Technical sessions are normally expected to have 5 papers. In exceptional cases (e.g., invited industrial speakers or extended presentations), you may propose a session with fewer papers or a double-time slot.

  4. Short biographies: Provide a short bio-sketch of the session proposers.

IMPORTANT DATES

  1. Special Sessions proposal submit deadline: September 11, 2026

CALL FOR TUTORIALS

The IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and the world’s premier forum for researchers in the active fields of theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems. ISCAS 2027 will be held in Bordeaux, France, from June 6 to 9, 2027.

Participation in tutorials and technical meetings is an excellent opportunity for lifelong learning, and ISCAS 2027 is committed to supporting professional development. Suitable tutorial topics range from emerging research areas to established techniques of practical and industrial relevance within the scope of the Circuits and Systems Society.

TUTORIAL PROPOSALS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The proposal should include a two-page (maximum) description of the tutorial and a one-page professional biography of the tutorial speakers that highlights their qualifications and track records in the proposed subject area.

THE PROPOSAL NEEDS TO CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

  • Format of the Tutorial: Full-day or Half-day.

  • Title and Abstract: A title and an abstract that allow conference attendees to quickly and accurately understand the subject matter of the tutorial.
